Unlimited Golf

We fill your foursome and book the round, by text.

Golf is first. We're building the agents that get people together in person.

People want to be together. Making a plan is the hard part.

Americans still spend $1.6T a year going out. The plans fall apart in the group chat.

Golf is played four at a time and booked one at a time.

The plan happens in a group chat: who's in, which day, who's short a player. Every booking site sells to one person, after the chat is over.

Then courses run on our system. Stick books them directly.

A course gets a website, tee sheet and text line. Every agent gets its own key, and the course sets the rules.

Agents can pay and book now. Venues can't let them in.

ChatGPT books restaurants through OpenTable, Resy and Yelp (Aug 2026).

Agents can pay: Stripe's Link wallet hands an agent a one-time card the person approves (Apr 2026).

Golf courses book by phone or through systems that block agents.

We don't wait for agent traffic. We bring our own.

We've built for hosts and venues before.

Arthur Xiao
Founder · ex-Dorsia engineer

Built Stick, matching and the course system. Brooklyn golfer.

Chris Mathew
Co-founder · ex-CTO, Rumor

Built Rumor's host agent and iMessage agent for hosts like McLaren, TAO and Revolve. Product engineer at Dorsia.

At Dorsia and Rumor we worked with hosts and venues every day. They all had the same problem: filling the room still runs on texts, DMs and spreadsheets.

Appendix: the questions we expect

"Isn't iMessage Apple's to give?"

Photon isn't an Apple program, and Apple could shut it off. If it does, the same agent runs over SMS, the web and our app. Apple's only approved agent so far is Poke (Jun 2026); we'll apply. Either way we keep the golfer graph and play-again data.

"Why won't ChatGPT or Instinct just do golf?"

They can search, but they hit the same bot walls we mapped, and they can't form a foursome of strangers. That takes a vetted local pool and two-sided consent.

"YC already funded Tee Time Tommy."

It helps a golfer manage their own bookings. We form the group and then become the course's system, which is where the money and lock-in are.

"What about CourseRev's Teemeup?"

The closest product: a texting booking agent wired into Lightspeed and foreUP. It sells to courses already on those systems and doesn't match players. Speed is our moat for the first 18 months.

Who gets in

Every golfer is approved. Founding members are vouched in by number. 18+, checked in code. ID and selfie checks are planned behind a switch for reported golfers.

What's shared

First name and last initial only. Numbers are swapped on a double yes. Any golfer can block or report, and a report pauses matching for the reported golfer.

Consent

Each opt-in is stored with its exact wording and version. No unprompted text more than once a week. Quiet hours 9pm to 8am.

Booking

Nothing books until the golfer replies YES to a code-written message showing the course, time, players and price.

Payment

The golfer approves a one-time card in Stripe Link for the exact amount. The AI never sees a card number.

Engines

We never get around CAPTCHAs or bot walls or pose as a person's browser. Where we can't book, we hand off to the course's own page.
